Dangerous Driving
To be convicted of dangerous driving, the Crown must prove that you operated your vehicle in a manner dangerous to the public, taking into account the conditions at the time — including weather and traffic patterns.
The standard asks whether your driving departed from how the average, reasonable person would drive in those same circumstances. A conviction can carry serious consequences, including licence suspension or incarceration.
