Impaired Driving / Over 80 (“DUI”)
We handle impaired driving matters involving alcohol, drugs, or both. There are two main charges: operating a vehicle with a blood alcohol concentration over 80 mg in 100 mL of blood — typically following breathalyzer results — and impaired driving, which does not require test results at all.
For impaired driving, circumstantial evidence such as erratic driving, bloodshot eyes, the odour of alcohol, a flushed face, or slurred speech may be enough. The charges can be laid separately or together.
Both offences carry serious criminal consequences, including licence suspension, mandatory fines, and potential incarceration. These are technically complex charges that call for experienced representation — contact us for a free consultation.
Every consultation is free, confidential — and judgment-free.
